GREEK SCHOOL FOR KIDS Greek School for kids has begun and is held Saturday mornings from 10:00 - 11:00am. All the grade school kids begin at a basic level and we will expand the teaching over time to different age and learning levels. We are working with the Consulate General of Greece in Toronto in conjunction with the University of Crete to provide a full, comprehensive September - May curriculum for 2010 designed specifically for our parish and for our cultural demographics. In the meantime, they have provided us with excellent material to give our children a head start this year for what is to come in 2010/11. Many thanks to Mr. Stamatis Melissis for championing this very important program towards the preservation of a cultural identity for our children. |
